Sam's Daily Routine

Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at six thirty. He quickly/briskly/slowly changes into his clothes and makes/eats/prepares a quick morning meal. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is designing websites, which he enjoys/finds challenging.

During his break, Sam listens to music. When his workday is finished, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam has supper and spends time with his family or friends. Before bed, he brushes his teeth. Finally, Sam turns in for the night at around ten/eleven.

Steve Learns a Lesson

Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.

• Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
• But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.

From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.

Sam's New Friend

Sam was experiencing a little lonely. He wanted to have a new pal to play with. One day, while he was running in the woods, he saw something different. It was a little being with colorful scales. Sam quietly went up to the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature smiled and answered Sam, "My name is Lily!" And so, Sam made a new mate. They spent the rest of the day playing together.

Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
