Sam's Daily Routine
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at seven. He quickly/briskly/slowly prepares for the day and makes/eats/prepares a quick morning meal. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is teaching history, which he read more sometimes struggles with.
During his break, Sam chats with colleagues. When his workday comes to an end, he goes to the gym/plays basketball/watches TV for a while. In the evening, Sam has supper and relaxes with his family or friends. Before bed, he gets ready for sleep. Finally, Sam goes to bed at around half past ten.

He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Fortunately/By chance, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
A New Friend
Sam was feeling a little lonely. He hoped to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was running in the park, he spotted something interesting. It was a little creature with glowing feathers. Sam carefully approached the creature and said, "Hello! What's your name?" The creature laughed and answered Sam, "I'm Lily!" And so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day playing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
